I exhibited in the Reflect/Refract National JMGA Contemporary Jewellery Award Exhibition, which was part of the Indian Ocean Craft Triennial. I was over the moon to be awarded the People’s Choice Award. This was a fantastic achievement and gave me a boost of confidence. The two pieces I created, reference the Stolen Generations (the forced removal of Indigenous Australians from their families) and the path towards Reconciliation.
